Are you an experienced 3rd Line Engineer with expertise in complex design, configuration, and support challenges?
This might be the role for you. Engage fully in Windows server environments and networks, guiding clients through technical intricacies, assisting with new client onboarding, and planning future IT systems.
As an Installations and 3rd Line Support Engineer, you’ll serve as the technical lead. You’ll support our helpdesk team, stepping in for issues demanding advanced expertise. Your role is crucial in delivering high-quality customer service, managing projects from design to deployment, and acting as the bridge between clients, partners, and third-party companies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead client projects from conception to deployment.
- Offer remote and on-site support for our valued customers.
- Uphold and exceed our standard of professional customer service.
- Deliver swift, accurate diagnosis and rectification of client faults in line with SLAs.
- Collaborate with partners and third-party companies for problem resolution.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Elevate problems and service requests per set protocols.
- Maintain accurate records on our service desk call system.
- Adhere to and uphold company policies with a mature approach.
- Enhance and expand current systems.
Technical Skills Required:
- Skills in SharePoint, Intune & Azure
- Proficiency with Microsoft Windows (all versions).
- Expertise in Active Directory – security groups, LDAP, ADSI, and administration/deployment.
- Mastery of Windows Server Environment (2012/2016) – from design to support.
- Experience with Hyper-V and VM-Ware virtualisation.
- Office 365 administration/deployment.
- Familiarity with various backup applications.
- Networking skills – VLAN, routing, switching, TCP/IP, OSI.
- Router configuration and setup, including wireless aspects.
- Competence in PowerShell (backup/azure/EMC).
- VPN Administration and Deployment.
- Proficient in DNS management – both internal and external.
- Cloud-based administration experience.
