Then this is the role for you. Our client is an innovative digital company, focussing on creating dynamic user-friendly mobile applications. They are now looking for a talented iOS developer with at least 3 years commercial UK experience to join their remote team in the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift UI and Xcode.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
· Ensure robust and efficient integration with various SDKs and third-party libraries (including CocoaPods).
· Work with external data sources and APIs, particularly focusing on AWS services and endpoints.
· Maintain and enhance existing codebases with a focus on Swift, with some usage of Objective-C.
· Implement and maintain features related to Firebase services, including push notifications.
· Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximise development efficiency.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio showcasing content-focused apps.
· Expertise in Swift, with a good understanding of Swift UI and Xcode.
· Experience with third-party libraries and APIs, especially integration with SDKs, packages, and pods.
· Familiarity with AWS services and how they can be integrated into iOS applications.
· Knowledge of Firebase, including push notifications and real-time data handling.
· Understanding of Objective-C is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality user experiences.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
