Important eligibility information

Have you designed and implemented Microsoft security solutions rather than simply supported them?
Do you enjoy working with Microsoft Sentinel, onboarding security technologies, and helping organisations improve their security posture?
Would you like to work for a growing Microsoft consultancy where you can combine architecture, client engagement, and hands-on technical delivery?

We are recruiting for a Security Architect to join a growing Microsoft-focused consultancy delivering security projects across a wide range of client environments. This is not a purely governance or documentation-focused architecture role. The successful candidate will be involved in designing solutions, advising clients, shaping security strategies, and remaining hands-on with implementation where required.

The environment is highly collaborative, technically strong, and focused on delivering practical security outcomes rather than simply producing reports and recommendations. You will work across Microsoft security technologies including Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, Identity Security, Conditional Access, and Purview, helping clients design and implement modern security solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

Designing Microsoft security architectures for client environments
Leading security workshops and requirements gathering sessions
Advising clients on security best practice and security improvement programmes
Designing and implementing Microsoft Sentinel solutions
Supporting onboarding of Microsoft and third-party technologies into Sentinel
Reviewing and improving security monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
Designing identity and access management solutions using Entra ID and Conditional Access
Implementing Zero Trust security principles
Supporting security transformation and cloud migration projects
Working closely with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery

Key Technical Skills

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience across:

Microsoft Sentinel
Microsoft Defender
Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps
Microsoft Defender XDR
Microsoft Entra ID
Conditional Access
Privileged Identity Management (PIM)
Identity Governance
Microsoft Purview
Azure Security

Microsoft Sentinel & Security Platform Experience

One area that is particularly important for this role is experience integrating security technologies into Microsoft Sentinel.

This could include:

Security telemetry onboarding
Syslog integrations
Log ingestion and normalisation
Security data connectors
Detection engineering
Analytics rule tuning
Security automation
Incident response workflows

Experience integrating technologies such as the following would be highly beneficial:

Palo Alto
Check Point
Fortinet
Cisco
Zscaler
Netskope
Trend Micro
Qualys
Other security and network technologies

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience operating as a Security Architect, Security Consultant, Senior Security Engineer, Security Platform Architect, or similar
Strong Microsoft security expertise
Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders
Ability to translate business requirements into practical security solutions
Comfortable balancing architecture, consultancy, and technical delivery
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Why Join?

Fully remote working
Join a growing and highly respected Microsoft consultancy
Work on varied and technically interesting security projects
Exposure to enterprise-scale and regulated client environments
